There is a lot of information on this topic on the SCRA website and the Ullapool site ullcoastrow.wordpress.com/ amongst others, but I will also try to incorporate the latest information here and would hope that any specific questions can be addressed to the wider community.
What you may need to get together before your build.
There is a new Welcome pack with additional information being supplied with every kit, I am not sure as yet what exactly it comprises and it may contain some of this information.
Download all the Build notes from SCRA site scottishcoastalrowing.org/boat-building/build-instructions/ and read through and download any useful photos from the Ullapool build ullcoastrow.wordpress.com/our-build
Get timber for building frame. L brackets and screws for frame and more for fixing to the floor. If possible drill and fix leveled frame to the floor as there is a lot of side pressure when building which could put things off line.
Oder kit and moulds.
Order Larch. timber list here scottishcoastalrowing.org/files/2013/07/MatListTimber-Rev-2.pdf
Epoxy. 5Kg of resin and 1Kg hardener, either slow or fast, in winter conditions the fast is not that fast. You may need more but this will get a lot done for you.
Epoxy filler, a good choice is West systems 403 microfibers
Kitchen scales for mixing epoxy, cheap battery type with 1g units ( don't use your partner's ).
Plenty of cheap mixing pots ( plastic glasses ) gloves and mixing sticks.
Parcel tape for covering the mould edges so the planks can release from moulds.
Semperoc Collano wood glue, can be used on laminating stems and gunwales instead of epoxy, no mixing and likes moisture and very firm clamping pressure. Two tubes may be enough, more likely three for stems and gunwales.
Procure or make a long table for scarfing planks.
Organise good lighting.
A tent of plastic sheeting to cover build with a small heater under may be useful in severe winter conditions to help cure epoxy.
Sheet of minimum 20 mm plywood for making the jig for stems.
At least 10 long clamps for clamping stems.
Make up a plank scarfing jig ullcoastrow.wordpress.com/our-build/planking/
Lots of clamps for the gunwales, these are cheap and quite good www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-868809-150-Euro-F-Clamp/dp/B000T9SGYO/ref=pd_bxgy_diy_text_y
Planer-thicknesser is very handy but could be hired and all done in a day.
