Alec Jordan has regretfully announced an increase in kit prices due to Vat registration. It is now £1609 for the full kit and £1297 for planking only. I would suggest that clubs get in touch with neighbours when builds are being organised to offer use of moulds, stem jigs and possibly building frames in an effort to keep costs down, particularly as clubs in their infancy are often struggling to get the initial funds together and nothing can really progress without the kit. There must be a lot of stuff lying about that could be loaned out while you contemplate your second build!
